DPV SPEED CONTROLLER
When diving with my DPV underwater scooter (Silent Submerge UV18), I have always missed a bit of functionality that modern units have. The ability to change speed without the need to stop or the function of soft start – without “pulling out” the hand when starting is a standard these days. Unfortunately, I did not find a satisfactory solution on the market… so together with my Father (an excellent electronics engineer) we created a brush motor controller, so that now anyone can make modifications to his DPV underwater scooter obtaining its full functionality.
DPV Speed controller is a product created by a diver for a diver, it works the way I would want it to work myself when looking for a solution for my scooter. It is designed and manufactured in Poland with components of the highest possible quality, making every effort to ensure that it works without fail for many years.
Controller controls the operation of a brush motor, triggered by a short circuit (such as a reed switch).
We offer two types of controllers, a universal one that works perfectly with, for example, Gavin, Silent Submerge, Hollis and others and a special controller for SUEX DPV.
Whichever controller you choose, you install it yourself with simple tools, without interfering with the scooter’s chassis, drilling additional holes or requiring additional seals. You can change the controller’s settings via Bluetooth from your Android or iOS device.

TAKE A LOOK
DPV SPEED CONTROLLER is ready for operation immediately after installation. From then on, the scooter is controlled by a combination of clicks of the trigger.
1 click – shift down, 2 clicks – shift up, 3 clicks will jump to the highest gear, regardless of the gear you are currently in, 3 clicks again will return to the initial gear.
Default settings of the controller offer a soft start function, defined 5 gears (speeds), the start is from 3rd gear, and after clicking the trigger three times you will reach the maximum speed.
CUSTOM SETTINGS
DPV SPEED CONTROLLER allows you to make your own operation settings, using universal software via Bluetooth from your Android or iOS device.
You will modify increasing the number of gears (up to a maximum of 8) and changing their speed, selecting the starting gear, increasing the soft start time, enabling the double-click to start function, enabling cruise control and the quick start function. You will check the current battery voltage and level.

Current DPV Speed Controllers come standard with a Lower Voltage Cut-off function – cutting off power when the battery voltage drops below 18V
– especially recommended for NiMH/NiCd batteries, but this also protects lead batteries from deep discharge.
